Dashboard and agent releases, newest first. Agent versions match the dashboard version they shipped with, so 4.2.1 on a device is the same 4.2.1 described here.

##Microsoft 365 seat assignment read directly

  • added · Licence matching now reads seat assignment from Microsoft 365, so a licence held by a leaver counts as consumed even when nothing is installed. Those are the seats worth reclaiming first.
  • changed · The unused-seat flag waits two full cycles instead of one, so a fortnight of annual leave no longer looks like waste.
  • fixed · Acrobat 2023 and 2024 were counting as separate products against one entitlement. Version families are now grouped on match.
  • fixed · Agent on macOS 15 occasionally reported battery cycle count as zero after a lid-closed sleep longer than 48 hours.

##Patch rings

  • added · Rollout rings: approve a patch for a pilot group, then widen to general once the pilot has been quiet for a dwell period you set. Every workspace gets pilot, general and sensitive by default.
  • added · Standing approvals, scoped to a named product, a named ring and a severity floor. They appear in the audit log as the authority for each rollout they trigger.
  • added · Maintenance windows per ring, so a Tuesday approval can become a Saturday 02:00 install on machines that cannot restart during the day.
  • changed · Approval requests now state plainly whether a patch can be rolled back, before you approve rather than after. Firmware and drivers require a second confirmation.

##WhatsApp attachments kept on the ticket

  • added · Photos sent over WhatsApp are attached to the ticket rather than dropped. It turns out a photograph of the error on the screen is how most people report a printer.
  • changed · WhatsApp senders are matched to a user by number, so a ticket arrives attributed instead of anonymous.
  • fixed · A reply arriving more than 30 days after a ticket closed opened a new ticket with no reference to the old one. It now reopens with the history attached.

##Replacement advisories

  • added · Device age and disk health are combined into a replacement advisory, with the tickets that device has generated in the last year attached. It is the one report that pays for itself at budget time.
  • added · Warranty notices 30 days out, and a board flag once a warranty lapses.
  • changed · Offline devices are informational for 72 hours before becoming an advisory. Laptops go on holiday.

##Leaver checklists in the right order

  • added · Leaver checklists are generated from what a person actually holds, not from a template: accounts, licences, devices, drive access, second factors.
  • changed · Session revocation now runs before notification. The old order left a window between telling someone and removing their access, and that window was being used.
  • added · Contractor end dates generate a leaver checklist automatically on the date, so temporary access expires on schedule.
  • added · Closed checklists export as a single PDF or JSON record, which is what client security questionnaires are usually asking for.

##Similar-ticket matching uses the asset

  • changed · Matching now weighs the linked asset, so a repeat fault on the same machine ranks above a similar phrase on a different one.
  • added · A pattern flag when the same fault hits the same asset three times in sixty days. That is the point at which the fix stops being a restart.
  • fixed · Declined suggestions were being re-offered on the next matching ticket. A decline with a reason now suppresses the same suggestion for that asset.

##Multi-client board for service providers

  • added · One board across every client org, sorted by what needs attention rather than alphabetically.
  • added · Contract hours against block, retainer, per-device or time and materials, flagged at 80% and 100%.
  • added · Per-client response windows, working hours and holiday calendars, because that is what the contracts say.
  • added · White-label monthly reports generated from the same records technicians worked from.
  • changed · Technician access is per client org and starts at nothing. Cross-client queries return counts and client names, never ticket content.

Older releases

Entries before 4.0.0 cover the 3.x line, which reached end of support on 30 June 2026. Agents on 3.x stop reporting and must be re-enrolled; the dashboard flags any device still on that line.
